REMINDER - Provisional Candidates

If you were approved to take the CPA exam while enrolled in your final term of school, you are a Provisional Candidate. If your final term of school is complete, you must IMMEDIATELY have an official transcript sent to the Board of Examiners.

Once you take your first section of the exam, you have 120 days from that test date to submit the final transcript. If you miss the 120-day deadline, your exam scores will be voided and you will be ineligible to sit for any sections of the exam until the final transcript is received and you are determined eligible to test. Until your Provisional Status is cleared, you cannot view or receive any exam scores.

January-February 2012 Scores UPDATE

The second set of scores (615) have been received and processed. They are available for lookup through your online account on this web site only. Test dates included in this phase are January 20 through February 14, 2012. We do not know if we will receive more scores in this release cycle. Newly Certified Candidates

Certification information has now been transmitted to the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) for all CPAs with certificates dated on or before January 15, 2012.

You can apply for your license at the following link http://www.idfpr.com/profs/info/pa.asp. All questions about license requirements should be directed to IDFPR. The Board of Examiners cannot assist with the license application and has no information about their processing time.

Please note: The Board of Examiners is experiencing very heavy workloads at the present time. Applications and evaluations are being reviewed on a first in-first out basis. Phone inquiries only serve to slow the process even further. Please do not call inquiring about the status of your evaluation or application. You will be notified of your status as soon as possible. October-November Pass Candidate Certification

100% of candidates who passed the final section of the Uniform CPA exam in October-November 2011 AND completed the ethics course January 2012 or earlier and for whom we have received your score, have been certified.

Application instructions for licensure are included with the certification letter from our office. Congratulations to all new Certified Public Accountants!
