How long does it take to receive the results of my evaluation?

Evaluations can take up to 8 weeks to complete, with average time for domestic transcript 4-5 weeks and international transcripts 6-8 weeks. Once completed you will receive the results in the mail or a pdf document by email on letterhead with the Director's signature. Results cannot be given over the phone . If more information is required, the evaluator will send you a letter requesting the information needed.

Scores -- April-May 2012

We received 969 scores on Saturday, May 5 -- 274 AUD, 218 BEC, 219 FAR and 258 REG.

They are available for online lookup from this web page. (You cannot view your scores from the NASBA website.) If you were approved to test under provisional status, you will be unable to view your scores until we receive your final transcript and verify your final eligibility.

Where to Send Transcripts

ALL transcripts required for CPA application processing are mailed to:

Illinois Board of Examiners 100 Trade Centre Dr Suite 403 Champaign, IL 61820

Transcripts must be official and contain the seal and signature of the registrar. Unofficial copies are not accepted.

If your school participates in secure electronic transcript delivery, transcripts are emailed to etranscripts@ilboa.org. We do not accept electronic transcripts from applicants.

Educational Requirements - Change on July 1, 2013

For students completing educational requirements in the spring term, 2013, you must have met all educational requirements by the spring term AND all required applications and supporting documentation must be in our office no later than June 30, 2013 in order to qualify under the current educational requirements. The current and new educational requirements are attached.

The CPA Candidate Bulletin is the most informative publication available to answer your questions about the CPA exam including the procedures for applying for the exam, the payment coupon, the Notice To Schedule, exam scoring, refund policies, etc. Quoting the AICPA website, "The Candidate Bulletin is the official handbook for individuals who plan to take the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination.
